There are only few differences:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>An oak log with humidity level around 40-50% is processed to a timber. The oak timber doesn\u2019t need to be steamed; its colour is unified without this treatment.<\/li>\r\n\t<li>The timber is processed to blanks. The blanks have to be dried first; drying of oak wood takes more time, it needs 30-100 days to be dried properly. The final moisture level is 8-10%.<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Dry blanks are planed and then used for production of glued boards.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"European Oak (Quercus robur) Oak trees are much less common than beech trees in Slovakia.
